About the Position:
Type: 10 Week Summer 2018 Paid Internship
Reports to: Vice President, Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer
Location: 200 Nyala Farm Road, Westport, CT 06880
Relocation: Not Available
Work Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
The Export and Trade Intern (the E&T Intern) will be exposed to a broad array of export and global trade issues. In this role, the E&T intern can expect to work on projects such as:
Developing a trade flow tool utilizing excel;
Developing harmonized tariff code classification aids to assist Terex team members with product classification;
Update specific export processes relied upon by Terex to ensure compliance with US export control and trade sanctions laws;
Researching ownership of key suppliers to ensure compliance with applicable sanctions laws and regulations; and,
Other projects as assigned.
Rising junior/senior for academic year 2018 -2019
Minimum of a cumulative GPA of 3.3 required to submit resume to Terex Career Database; GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred.
Extensive Excel experience - especially with macros
