About the Position:

Title: Manager, Transformation Program

Reports to: Vice President, Transformation Program

Location: Westport, CT


The Transformation Program Manager plays an integral role within in the Transformation Program Office (TPO), which helps define and launch the initiatives, overcome obstacles and ensure commitments are met. This position will partner with the various leaders that are driving the key initiatives within our “Focus, Simplify, and Execute to Win” strategy. The Transformation Program Manager will help ensure process discipline, establish accountability, and enable visibility and provide insights into the overall program. The position will also support the quarterly earnings release communication process and other analyses.


  • Create Visibility and Establish Accountability

  • Work with individual project managers or initiative owners to translate detailed project plans into meaningful content in Wave tool

  • Design and implement reporting dashboard for each initiative area, tailored to specific reporting needs

  • Facilitate monthly progress reviews with Terex CEO and CFO, highlighting critical milestones which require leadership attention

  • Summarize TPO progress and next steps for Steering Committee and Board of Directors

  • Ensure commitments are being met through impact tracking and analysis

  • Periodically stress-test impact assumptions and ensure consistency in approach

  • Reconcile Wave impacts to investor commitment, strategic plans, and AOP

  • Collaborate with initiative owners to identify and report KPIs where necessary

  • Administer Web-BasedProgram Management Reporting Platform (Wave Tool)

  • Responsible for overall configuration, design, and user management

  • Serve as subject matter expert of the platform and first point of contact for user community (>150 users)

  • Continually look for ways to enhance reporting features and user interface, liaise with McKinsey Solutions to optimize the platform

  • Perform end-user training

  • Financial Reporting, Earnings and Other

  • Act as TPO Financial Analyst – designing and running reports to support the review of operating results on an ad-hoc basis

  • Support the preparation of materials for Board Director Meetings, including customer analysis

  • Aid in the development of Key Messages as part of the Earning Call process

  • Lead or participate in various improvement projects


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline

  • 5+ years of experience with a publicly held global company

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in or supporting commercial, operations, sourcing or parts and services functions

  • Financial analysis skills; ability to develop spreadsheets and models to support financial analysis; knowledge of Oracle (TMS), OneStream/HFM, and/or Qlikview is a plus

  • Prior experience leading or participating in major change projects or initiatives a plus

  • Strong verbal and non-verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Polished, confident, & personable demeanor; Outstanding stakeholder management skills

  • Self-directed; Enjoys challenges, learning, and continuous self-improvement

  • High sense of agility and urgency and responds positively to rapid change

  • Process management and process improvement skills

  • Will need a valid passport for International travel


  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 10%
