Terex Utilities is a truck equipment final stage manufacturer of digger derricks, aerial devices and associated equipment for the utility industry , municipals, telecommunications, tree and electrical contractor markets.

Responsibilities:

This position is critical to business development efforts by supporting the development of sales specifications, quotations and bids, and providing customer solutions for highly customized equipment for specified government and commercial customers. The role focuses on supporting major components including chassis specifications, and unit compliance to bid specifications.

  • Review and evaluate technical specifications, research and understand integration of appropriate major components, develop compliance responses.

  • Interpret aerial/derrick unit bid specifications and compare to Terex standard designs.

  • Develop compliance response identifying all deviations.

  • Request unit engineering quote requests to address deviations where appropriate.

  • Partner with Sales Application Engineers and Sales Coordinators to secure chassis quotations and ensure all Terex requirements have been met. Review manufacturer chassis specifications for all customer supplied chassis verifying feasibility requirements, accuracy and Terex standards are met.

  • Maintain standardized chassis specifications requirements for Terex chassis purchases.

  • Standards to maximize interface compatibility between purchased chassis and Terex units for installation.

  • Coordinate aftermarket conversions to support chassis requirement needs as necessary.

Qualifications:

This is not a parts quoting or CSR role.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 6 months+ experience in parts sales or order desk ​

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience coordinating technical sales proposals including managing, validating and reviewing proposal data and documents and creating sales orders after bid award

  • CRM or ERP Systems

  • Commercial service and/or sales background, involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and/or medium chassis applications.

  • MS Office

  • Sales proposal development/process management skills

  • 1 year of business to business experience.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of fast-paced, cross-functional analytical team

  • Manage multiple project priorities and deadlines
