To perform a variety of work related to the shipping, receiving and material control functions throughout the shop. Responsible for keying transfers and maintaining the flow of products to internal and external customers. Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure inventory accuracy and maintain a 5S environment.
Physical requirements of the job are classified as medium to heavy. Medium to heavy work is defined as exerting 20 to 100 pounds of force occasionally (0-2.5 hrs/day); and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently (2.5-5.5 hrs/day); and or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly (5.5+ hrs/day) to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of Light work.
Operate forklift both inside and outside the warehouse while adhering to Terex Utilities forklift policy.
Drive truck with flatbed trailer between local Terex facilities and supplier locations as required
Pulling orders from pick lists or BOM for Auger Work Orders.
Packaging of orders as required to support both domestic and international shipment of goods.
Contact freight carriers for quotes on cost and delivery time; Make arrangements for carrier pickup of shipments.
Perform opening and closing functions of warehouse including all safety checklists related to facilities and equipment.
Coordinate with other departments regarding movement of materials and work to be performed when needed.
See that docks are kept clear of materials as received so as not to impede further arrivals.
Other tasks of the general nature related to warehouse operations as assigned by supervisor
Exposure to all kinds of weather.
Certain personal protective equipment is required.
Compliance with all applicable occupational health and safety required.
Access computer terminals and process all transactions required for the transfer of inventory.
Visually inspect goods received for damage from handling and transit, and process damage report.
General knowledge of where parts should be located.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Language Requirements: English
Ability to read and interpret blue prints.
Accuracy and attention to details.
Be accurate and thorough. Ability to communicate both written and verbal.
Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Possess a valid driver's license
Computer background with keyboarding knowledge required.
