The Asst. Sales Manager ensures continued sales growth in assigned region for MP products. The role will be responsible for driving growth across the territory assigned and developing, implementing and monitoring sales forecasts and targets, identifying new business opportunities and establishing strong long term customer relationships.
Achievesales targets by direct sales
Develop new sales leads and service existing customers within assigned territory and region.
Establish sales forecasts for customers within your region
Continue to build positive working relationships with targeted customer base including conducting regular visits to existing and new customers.
Manage discount levels and strive to improve the company’s margins.
Assist with the development and delivery of marketing campaigns into the market.
Ongoing research of local market and business activity and identify opportunities.
Educate Crushing customers on the Terex MPS aftermarket value proposition.
Coordinate sales efforts with other functions such as engineering and finance.
Support Trade Shows and Customer Demo’s as appropriate
Previoussales experience in commercial or industrial sales (construction industry experience a plus)
Previous experience in the Crushing & Screening industry will be highly regarded
The ability to influence internal and external business partners
Sound negotiation skills and ability to lead commercial negotiations
Professional level knowledge of the principles and practices involved in new business development, product marketing and sales
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem solving skills to develop sales strategies
Highly motivated with an ability to work both independently and with diverse teams
Travel will be required of this position.
