Oklahoma City is a unique site to Terex Corporation in North America, manufacturing for each of the business segments: Terex Aerial Work Platforms, Terex Cranes, and Terex Materials Processing. Its workforce of 560+ team members is anticipated to grow by more than 1,000 over the next few years. The 100+ acre facility has recently completed an extensive remodel to accommodate the business’ growth.


Applicants will work in a fast paced environment, and be comfortable with working at heights and with overhead cranes. This position may include assembling equipment components, sub-assemblies, and accessories, as well as setting up the finished product, while lifting items upto 50 pounds.

Primary duty is to ensure that products perform their proposed functions in a satisfactory manner. The method of test or inspection will depend upon the type of product. Accurate documentation of the test or inspection results is critical.

Working environment may include working outside performing machine set up, and calibration and test on large cranes. Weather conditions may vary considerably. Test technicians may also be required to work closely with engineers to improve the quality of current products, as well as testing of our new products.


Basic Qualifications

  • 4 years experience as a large industrial mechanic (knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical)

  • 2 years experience reading prints and shop manuals

  • 2 years experience reading and interpreting hydraulic/electrical/pneumatic schematics

  • HS Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualificiations:

  • CCO Certified

  • CDL-A

  • CDL Class B licensed (desired, but will be required for position, company will assist with training)

  • Experience operating and/or maintaining mobile/crawler cranes

  • Strong orientation toward safety, quality, and continuous improvement

  • Experience in basic computing skills

  • Experience working with hand and air tools; advanced mechanical ability; trouble shooting and correcting errors

  • Experience working in a fast paced environment

  • Familiarity with a manufacturing environment

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
