Oklahoma City is a unique site to Terex Corporation in North America, manufacturing for each of the business segments: Terex Aerial Work Platforms, Terex Cranes, and Terex Materials Processing. QA TECH JOB POSTING
The Quality Technician (QA Tech) will have the responsibility to inspect or otherwise test components, raw material and finished goods at TEREX. The QA Tech will assist in monitoring of production processes with the goal of maintaining compliance to or improvement of written procedures. The QA Tech is required to attend tier meetings, as directed, and to communicate internally with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges, identify and sponsor opportunities for quality and productivity improvements, and to participate in safety and 5S activities. QA Tech will create and review forms and records in the various systems used by the business.
Engage in MRB process for discrepant materials
Maintain instrument/tool calibration system, including documents and procedures
Support ECN implementation
Provide support to special projects as assigned, including 5S and Quality projects
Perform Finished Goods inspection/audits of components and assemblies to quality standards for parts, assemblies and related documentation for items being shipped.
Create and store records
Perform finished goods audits of Cranes, Telehandlers or Materials processing units/components, create associate records and store those records per process.
Participate in receiving inspection and/or first article inspections as directed
Perform routine equipment inspections
Perform equipment and process validations, as required
Monitor and review in-process inspection of production parts and processes
High School diploma or GED
2 years of Quality Assurance/Control or related experience
Ability to see well with or without correction
Associate Degree, Technical/Vocational school training
Working knowledge of ERP systems, such as Oracle, TMS or SAP
Experience with SolidWorks CAD system
Experience with metrology and CMM machines (i.e. FARO tools)
Experience with Polyworks Software
Proficient communication, problem solving and presentation skills
Data analysis and reporting skills
Proficiency using MS Office: Excel, Power Point and Word
Experience / proficiency in time management and organization
Experience/proficiency with quality analysis tools
Ability to work from heights
