Terex Environmental Equipment/CBI is a manufacturer of Wood Chippers, Biomass machines, and Grinders and has one location in Newton. It is part of the Materials Processing division of Terex.

Responsibilities:

This role will provide assistance with design, develop and test all aspects of one or more CBI Product lines.

  • Responsible for one or more CBI Product lines

  • Manage & oversee all Engineer work related to those Product Lines

  • Create and manage all BOMs and Drawings

  • Create Project plan and meet deliverables

  • Complete documentation package (job books, manuals, assembly drawings, etc.)

  • Provide manufacturing support

  • Provide Customer Service, Dealer and Actual Customer Support

  • Perform ongoing review of Product Line for new methods, materials, etc.

  • Follow proper Engineering procedures for ECOs, ECRs, etc.

  • Support CBI Purchasing & Warehouse on any relevant inventory concerns

  • Provide sound Engineering concepts & principles

  • Produce timely and accurate As-Built BOMs

  • Produce timely and accurate material for Service Manuals

  • Create Bills of Material for assembly drawings

  • Produce all required documentation

  • Other duties as assigned

This is an Entry level position - 2018 New Grads will be considered

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate‚Äôs Degree

  • 6 months+ experience in mechanical design, detailing, and the use of computer-assisted drafting (CAD).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solidworks

  • BSME

  • Manufacturing or aftermarket experience

  • Project Management experience

  • Knowledge of common manufacturing terminology and techniques, including welding, fabricating, and machining.

  • Thorough knowledge of English and Metric units of measurement, as well as basic mathematics and geometry.

  • Self-starter, independent worker with good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to thrive in deadline driven environment.
