Job Title: Warehouse Receiving Lead

Department: Warehouse Department

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Position Description:

This position is responsible for inventory packaging, order pulling, shipping and receiving.


  • Input shipping information into the computer

  • Cycle count to verify correct numbers, as required

  • Process non-conformance paperwork, as required

  • Run inventory identifications

  • Perform routine paperwork and filingWarehouse

  • Sign for all incoming materials while checking off on product and quantity

  • Check for incoming freight for damage

  • Tag items w/o packing list and problems with suspect tags

  • Communicate stock shortages and back ordered requirements with Purchasing

  • Prepare stocking labels and assist stock labeling

  • Assist in maintaining proper stock locations in the computer

  • Assist in maintaining neat and orderly inventory warehouse locations

  • Disperse incoming material to correct recipients


Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 2 years warehouse experience with computer operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly.

  • Knowledge of inventory control and warehousing procedures

  • Good verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills

  • Discipline to manage inventory with very high accuracy at all times

  • Clear understanding of UPS, truck freight and air freight processes.

  • Forklift experience preferred.

  • Proficiency with math, reading and writing.

  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects at one time.

  • Ability to manage and lead a team


  • Standing, sitting, crouching, bending for 8+ hours

  • Lifting- max of 40 lbs, overhead crane for large items

  • Environment- high noise and traffic area

  • Exposure to elements- factory, no air-conditioning

  • Exposure to chemicals

  • Occasional off shift work (3rd shift) required as dictated by business needs
