Terex Corporation Manager Business Development & Sales-AWP in Bangalore, India

Overview:

To develop market for an extensive range of Aerials Work Platforms (AWP) and take it to next level with suitable marketing strategy, development plan and proper execution thru’ our distribution and sales network in the region

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and work with a group of team members who as a team will:

  • Achieve sales and market share targets of the region

  • Implement consistent and industry leading distribution management process.

  • Prepare, implement, monitor, and enforce regional targets through distributor business planning process.

  • Ensure equipment inventory at the distributor level to service the assigned territory

  • Ensure proper sales and service coverage and call frequency by distributors in the assigned territory

  • Monitor and manage sales volume, profitability, and account status in the assigned territory. Create and submit equipment sales forecasts

  • Manage and ensure distributor participation in Terex sales and service training programs

  • Ensure distributor participation in co-op marketing activities

  • Motivate and build relationships with dealers and key customers in the territory

  • Provide market feedback related customer demands and product development needs or ideas

  • Work closely and communicate effectively with applications team, engineers, inside sales people, and parts department

  • Prepare and suggest Long terms / short term strategy for growth in Aerial market in India region

  • Suggest a viable plan for local Manufacturing and resource Planning

  • Prepare a Business Development Plan and implementation of the same

  • Participate in strategic distribution network building and a key role for distribution appointment and cancellation process.

  • Implement and manage the Major Account Program

  • Build relationships with, and motivate, employees and distribution principles

  • Provide a safe and positive work environment

  • Participate in key industry associations and explore ways and means to promote aerial at work sites

  • Work with Government and other agencies in proposing safety regulations for working at Heights

  • Travel throughout the region as required and abroad, as required Travel approximately 50%

Qualifications:

  • Engineering graduate with MBA preferred
