About the Position:
Title: Project Manager
Reports to: Senior Director, IT Strategy and Performance Management
Location: Redmond, WA and Lurgan, NI
This position will be the day to day point person on a several global projects and will represent the EPMO and IT team as the project manager. In this role he or she will be required to work with 3rd party software group and internal and external resources to deliver seamless solutions to our internal stake holders teams.
Lead development and approval of project definition and scoping with stakeholders including clients, delivery teams, finance team and senior management.
Support development of cost/benefit assessments and solution recommendations.
Prepare and maintain Project Management artifacts including Project Charter, Statement of Work (SOW), project plan, weekly project status report, project staffing forecast, timesheet entry template, log of issues, risks, action items and decisions (IRAD), project change control, and project closure document.
Facilitate project meetings such as team status, project planning, issue resolution and artifact review, and ensure conclusive results with published minutes including meeting decisions and follow-up action items.
Ensure that project objectives, scope, cost, schedule and benefits are agreed to by all stakeholders.
Develop and maintain project schedule and resource plans including staffing and hardware / software expense forecast.
Forecast and track actual resource expenditures and budget variances.
Lead project teams to complete projects on time, on budget and with highest level of quality.
Ensure that project risks are identified, communicated and mitigated for successful project delivery.
Provide succinct communication of project status, issues, risks, decisions and responsibility assignments to project team and management.
Ensure project team compliance with program/project management and governance standards.
Minimum 5 years extensive experience in leading complex IT projects.
Minimum 7 years’ experience in Project Management.
Minimum 8 years’ experience in one or more areas of business or IT.
Minimum 1 years’ experience and knowledge of cloud based architecture and implementation.
Minimum 1 years’ experience with externalization/commercialization of software.
Minimum 1 years’ experience with application platform migration.
Demonstrated competency in management of multiple or large projects.
Experience with Agile Methodology/Teams and financial/status reporting specific to agile methodology.
Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to effectively influence people.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and MS Project.
