About the Position

Title: Sales Trainee

Type: Co-Op, Part-time, up to 6 months

Number of Positions: 1

Reports to: Sales & Marketing Director

Location: Newton, NH

Work Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Position Overview

  • The Sales Trainee will learn and developing selling skills, work to build relationships and acquire product knowledge to assist with the promotion of our product and its uses and applications in the marketplace. The position will assist the sales and marketing team in various ways such as presentation preparation, market research, inside sales, trade show participation, and in other capacities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist assigned Sales Manager effectively and in a robust way

  • Conduct market research to assist in finding new dealers for territories and market segments not adequately covered

  • Be a key contributor to the team, assisting assigned Sales Manager & marketing team

  • Attend and assist to coordinate seminars, product demos and other sales activities as required

  • Help create presentations to end-user customers

Qualifications:

  • Minimum sophomore year standing as of Spring 2018 at an accredited 4 year university/college.

  • Pursuing a full-time undergraduate/graduate degree

  • Minimum of a cumulative GPA of 3.0 required to submit resume to Terex Career Database.

  • Track record of demonstrable accomplishments in school and at work.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Solid communication skills - both written and verbal.

  • Action oriented and strong follow-up.

  • Positive, can-do attitude; self-starter.

Hours

  • 40 hours per week during normal office hours, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
