Title: Design Engineer

Reports to: Design Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:

During your time with us you will:

  • Work with our Engineering team on daily manufacturing solutions and value improvements

  • Conduct analysis and testing to verify functionality, strength, safety

  • Design considerations of prototype parts and assemblies

  • Create detailed engineering documentation including design, drafting and analysis on process and/or product improvement projects

As part of our team we will:

  • Provide you with real-work assignments that will provide you valuable experience as you begin your career.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field by hire date

  • Ability to develop engineering drawings and schematics with minimal oversight

  • Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as SolidWorks and AutoCAD

  • Flexibility to work overtime, different shifts, and travel, on short notice as necessary

  • Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks/projects at one time, and/or project management experience

  • Ability to work independently, competently and within a team

  • Ability to teach, develop, document, update, and improve work processes

  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and goals

  • Positive and energetic

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
