Reporting to theDirector, Crushing technology,youwill be responsible for providing support to develop, test and maintain prototype crushing machinery.
Training could be given in areas where they don't have relevant expertise (eg writing risk assessments/method statements).
Field support of prototype tracked, static and modular crushers.
To investigate and resolve field problems in a timely manner.
Carrying out maintenance and servicing of prototype crushers.
Conduct performance and test trials on prototype machines.
To assist with prototype machine builds in Coalville works.
To support Coalville production machine build as may be required.
Ensuring site vehicle and equipment is kept in safe and usable condition.
Qualified to work on 3 phase 415V electrics adavantageous.
Minimum of 5 years’ mechanical/hydraulic fitting experience, preferably within the heavy manufacturing industry.
Qualified to use lifting equipment.
Good general mechanical skills
Have the ability to read drawings and technical publications
Able to work effectively across a range of cultures
Hold a valid clean drivers’ license and valid passport.
Ability to conduct weld repairs on site preferred.
Working knowledge of hydraulic systems preferred.
Working knowledge of basic low voltage electrical systems preferred.

Ability to write risk assessments and method statements as may be required.
